City of Austin:
- A Night For Austin: In response to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis and in support of the musicians that make Austin the live music capital of the world, PeopleFund is offering financial assistance in the form of zero interest loans to local musicians. This program plans to help at least 50 artists in the music industry and it is possible thanks to Austin Community Foundation and a generous grant from A Night For Austin and its hosts, Paul Simon, Edie Brickell, Willie and Annie Nelson and Luck Reunion. - Relief for Restaurants in Austin: With a generous gift from the Still Water Foundation in support of PeopleFund’s COVID19 Relief Fund, we launched a program to support restaurants in the Austin area during the current crisis. Participants in this relief fund receive financial assistance in the form of loans from $5,000 to $150,000 with interest rates of 5% or less and the first 6 months of payments totally forgiven. - Stand with Austin: A generous grant from the Stand with Austin Fund through the Austin Community Foundation is making it possible for PeopleFund to provide financial and technical assistance to businesses seriously impacted by the cancellation of South by Southwest. Participants in this program receive loans from $5,000 to $150,000 with concessionary interest rates and the first 6 months of payments totally forgiven. This program aims to help arts, music & creative (including technical), service & bar and hospitality businesses but it is also open to other kind of businesses that can demonstrate a direct negative impact by the cancellation of SXSW. City of El Paso:
PeopleFund is offering grants to eligible business owners in El Paso, specifically independent contractors and sole proprietors without employees, within City limits, navigating COVID-19 response. This program will provide grants of up to $5,000 to eligible independent contractors and sole proprietors that have suffered business losses due to business interruptions caused by COVID-19. City of Fort Worth:
The City of Fort Worth is teaming up with PeopleFund to launch the Business Resiliency Microloan Program, which is prepared to provide at least $850,000 to eligible businesses in Fort Worth who are being impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll or accounts payable, or cover other bills that can’t be paid due to the pandemic. Click here to learn more. City of Pleasanton:

City of Victoria:
We’ve partnered with the City of Victoria, Texas – Government and created the Business Resiliency Microloan Program, a microloan program that helps Victoria businesses who have been impacted by COVID19. As part of a county-wide collaboration, Hays County established the Emergency Cash Assistance Program (ECAP) grant fund, which will deploy $600,000 in grants to local businesses. This free financial resource is designed to aid small businesses in Hays County that are struggling to sustain operations due to the COVID-19 health crisis. Click here to learn more and apply.
Hidalgo County has launched the Hidalgo County CARES Small Business Grant Program to assist businesses with expenditures related to the cost of business interruption caused by the required closure related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants in the amounts of $3,000 and $5,000 will be disbursed based on business annual net income of $100,000 or less. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis until funds are depleted. The program will be administered by PeopleFund, who will provide technical assistance to applicants and will operate in conformance with the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act federal guidelines.
