Press Release: PeopleFund Opens San Antonio Office

San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to provide office space and support

San Antonio, Texas – As part of its five year statewide expansion plan, PeopleFund now has a presence in San Antonio. Today the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) and PeopleFund announced an agreement in which the Chamber provides lease office space and support for the Austin based non-profit.  PeopleFund will provide reduced interest rates and closing fees for loans to SAHCC business owner members. Training workshops, educational events, and technical assistance will also be provided at no cost to SAHCC members.  The organizations will cross promote events in support of each other.

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Ramos will provide customer service at the SAHCC Pearl Brewery office in support of Senior Loan Officer Beatriz Pappas.  “It is great to add San Antonio as our sixth Texas office” remarked Gary Lindner, PeopleFund President & CEO, who served as COO of LiftFund (formerly ACCION Texas) for six years before moving to PeopleFund.  “The partnership with the SAHCC will help us better serve the growing Hispanic business community along with other San Antonio businesses in need of capital and business support services”.
