We just received some big news from our Dallas office. It feels like we just unpacked the boxes and our Dallas coworkers have hit the ground running.
Comerica Bank has just announced that it will be providing our Dallas office with a $40,000 grant to lend to small businesses in the Dallas area. This money will create the jobs and businesses that will keep our Texas economy strong.
We worked with Irv Ashford Jr., the senior vice president of community development at Comerica, to put this together. Irv and Comerica are dedicated to making their community a better place.
“While we have the resources of a large bank, at heart, we are a community-based relationship bank,” Irv said. “We are proud of our company’s track record of volunteering for non-profit causes and their leadership roles in community-based organizations.”
Comerica Bank has received eight consecutive “Outstanding” ratings from the Federal Reserve for their efforts to re-invest in the community.
“It’s one of Comerica’s core commitments to enhance the communities where we live and work, to make our communities healthier and more economically viable,” he added. “It’s the right thing to do.”
