Owner, John Zapata, started this business venture after the impact from the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to resign from the small car dealership and service station he was managing. After months of planning and discussions with mentors, Zapata decided that a mobile quick lube would be the best way to move forward despite the global pandemic.
With the help of PeopleFund and Cindy Urruti, PeopleFund’s Houston area loan officer, Zapata said, “[I was able to] financially get the mobile quick lube operational. Working with Cindy, she really walked me through everything and assisted me in every way she could.”

When asked how he and his family celebrate their Hispanic Heritage, Zapata said, “[We] always try to have that Sunday breakfast together eating barbacoa. You can always hear some type of Spanish music playing throughout the house.”
