Survey of Small Business Needs in Austin
According to the U.S. Census, the number of small businesses in Austin MSA grew by 26% between 2000 and 2010, compared to only 1% for the U.S. Because small business growth is so important to the Austin economy, City leaders wants to hear from you directly.
To gain an understanding of the needs of small businesses and how to best meet those needs, the City of Austin is inviting all small businesses within the City limits to participate in a short survey and/or one of several focus groups that will be held throughout Austin.
The focus groups will be held between January 27, 2014 and February 28, 2014 at various times throughout the day and at various locations across the City. Each group will include 12-15 small business owners. A light meal will be provided and you will receive $20 at the conclusion of the discussion.

Weekly, the City of Austin will give away a FREE business class to one randomly-selected survey participant.
Winners will be notified by email and can select a small business class from those offered by the City of Austin during the next six months, excluding QuickBooks.
