My name is Madeline Struve and I am a Communications and Operations Intern at PeopleFund for the Spring of 2016. I am currently in my final semester at the University of Texas at Austin and will be graduating in May of 2016 with a major in Marketing. For the past year, I have worked part-time as a Marketing Director for a local interior design company, focusing on market research and social media publicity.
I am a lover of coffee and books. When not in school, I am usually found at a coffee shop studying or reading. I am also highly interested in marketing and communications, as I believe it allows both my passion for creativity and my love of business to thrive.
I moved to Austin four years ago, and fell in love.
Living in Austin has brought me a greater awareness for small businesses. Since I hope to own a small business someday, I was immediately interested in interning at PeopleFund. I love that PeopleFund gives opportunities to individuals hoping to start a business who otherwise may have not been able to achieve those goals. I have felt incredibly welcomed since beginning and am so excited to continue interning at PeopleFund to help clients accomplish their dreams.
