Earlier this month, PeopleFund welcomed the former board members of Plan Fund and members of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth community to join in on our mission of supporting small business owners in North Texas.
More than forty representatives from community organizations, financial institutions, and local government were present.
PeopleFund President & CEO, Gary Lindner, and Director of Lending, Lesa Cox, spoke about the growth of lending and technical assistance to entrepreneurs in the greater Dallas area. Chairman of the PeopleFund Board, Adrian Neely, also spoke.
Special thanks were given to Leo Hicks of the City of Dallas – South Dallas Fair Park Trust for their partnership and support through grant funding as well as Comerica for their contributions to PeopleFund’s programming. The advisory committee, under the direction of chairman Barrett Howell of K&L Gates, will meet to discuss PeopleFund efforts in Dallas/Fort Worth.
