My name is Noelle Darilek and I started interning at PeopleFund in the fall of 2016 as a Development and Communications Intern. I am currently a senior at the University of Texas as a Journalism major. I have worked closely with social media and interned last summer at Hunter-Kelsey, where I assisted with marketing and research aspects.
One of my favorite things in the world is traveling and I have major wanderlust at all times. I was lucky enough to study abroad last summer at Oxford University and hope to either study abroad again in the future or simply travel more in general. My other affections include writing, reading, live music, eating queso and dancing.
This past year I had a moment when I realized that one of the main aspects that I want out of a career is to help people and to hear their stories. I think PeopleFund is a great place to start while keeping that in mind, as they have and help so many interesting clients with their own unique stories. PeopleFund helps them achieve their goal of owning a small business and the results are invaluable. With my major in Journalism and interning at PeopleFund this fall, I feel like I have a great start heading towards the direction I want to go after I graduate this spring. I am excited to be a part of PeopleFund and to join them as they help others who need assistance work towards and achieve their dream.
