Kolin Angels Home Health Expands with PeopleFund Small Business Support
At PeopleFund, we are proud to support small businesses that meet critical needs in their communities. One inspiring example is Kolin Angels Home Health, a home health agency dedicated to providing skilled nursing, therapies, and personal assistance services to post-surgical patients during their recovery at home.
Founded with a vision to deliver compassionate, personalized care, Kolin Angels Home Health helps individuals safely transition from hospital to home, empowering them to regain their independence and quality of life. The agency stands out for its customized care plans designed to meet each patient’s unique health needs, supported by certified caregivers, flexible scheduling, and bilingual staff to ensure accessible and inclusive care.
Owner Chikosolu, a licensed and certified nurse practitioner, brings more than 17 years of healthcare experience spanning post-acute care, case management, surgery, cardiovascular services, and critical care medicine. During her time in hospital settings, Chikosolu witnessed firsthand the challenges patients faced after discharge, including poor education, lack of caregiver support, and unreliable home healthcare services. Motivated to solve these gaps, she launched Kolin Angels Home Health to provide dependable, high-quality care in the comfort of patients’ homes.
To continue growing her business and meet the increasing demand for home health services, Chikosolu applied to PeopleFund’s BIPOC Small Business Accelerator. “I am hoping to gain more knowledge on running a profitable business, create a network of like-minded individuals whom I can resource, and have mentors I can turn to when my business faces challenges,” she shared.
After successfully completing the program and receiving a business loan, Chikosolu is now expanding her team to better serve her patients. With plans to hire three new team members this year, Kolin Angels Home Health is poised to continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families across the community.
We are honored to be part of Chikosolu’s journey and to support small business owners like her who are creating jobs, strengthening local economies, and providing essential services to those who need them most.
