PeopleFund CEO Gary Lindner was presented with an award from the African American Youth Harvest Foundation (AAYHF) for his commitment to the African American community.
He attended the foundation’s Changing the Story Gala, held on November 5th, where it honored those who have helped its cause and also celebrated 10 years of service in the Austin and greater Austin communities.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Cornel West, the Profession Emeritus at Princeton University. Gary was on the list of honorees and was given the award at the event.
The AAYHF strives to provide resources to undeserved
and at-risk youth and families, working to help them to achieve self-sufficiency.
