Program Overview
Horizon City and PeopleFund are proud to work together to implement the Horizon City Small Business Economic Recovery Grant Program. PeopleFund has been selected as the administrator of the program and will provide participants with free small business education and one-on-one business coaching. Applicants must apply for the program and, based on meeting all eligibility requirements, will be accepted into the education program. Upon completion of the education requirements, 45 participants will receive a $5,000 grant to further help their small businesses be successful.
Application Dates & Requirements
The application will open on February 22, 2023, and close on March 20, 2023. Only 45 grant awards are available, and the program will run as first come, first served.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis for eligibility. We will review all applications submitted; however, only the first 45 eligible completed applications will be eligible for the grant. All award statuses will be communicated by 3/24/2023. We encourage interested small businesses to apply for the grant early in the application window.
Submitted applications will not be considered unless complete. A completed application includes all required documentation to be uploaded; therefore, the application submission date will be based on the date ALL documents are submitted correctly and accurately. The system automatically provides a timestamp for each document uploaded. Please note that incorrect or incomplete documents will not be accepted, and the timestamp will be set for the date all correct and accurate documents are submitted.
