About the speakers: 

Julio J. Jauregui

Commercial Relationship Manager

Regions- Austin, Texas

Julio currently serves as Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for Regions Bank in Central Texas.  He services the needs of business customers with annual revenues up to $50 million.  He has been with Regions Bank since August, 3rd 2015 and has been helping business customers for more than 12 years.

Julio obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  Outside of being a Relationship Manager Julio participates in the Seedling Foundation as a mentor to young kids in the community.

Clay Scovill

Commercial Relationship Manager-Austin, Texas

As a trusted financial advisor, Clay Scovill brings more than 10 years of experience in financial services to his role with Regions Financial Corporation. He started his career with Kish Bank in 2008 where he spent the first five years of his career as an analyst and commercial banker. In 2012, he joined M&T Bank Corporation in New York working in commercial and corporate banking.  From 2014 to 2015 he worked in the New York Office of private equity firm, Encore Enterprises.  Clay’s focus was deal sourcing and structure and equity sourcing for multiple private equity direct transactions and funds.  Throughout his career, Clay has directly originated and/or been a part of the direct deal team for $800 million in committed capital closings.

Clay joined Regions Bank in 2019 and serves as Central Texas Commercial Relationship Manager. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a focus in Accounting and Finance from Franklin & Marshall College. In 2010, Clay earned his Certified Professional Designation, Commercial Lending from ABA/PBA School of Commercial Lending.

Clay and his wife Emily, have two children, Jack and Willow. They enjoy spending time hiking, training for races, playing basketball, traveling and reading.  Clay’s family is passionate about giving back to the Austin community and work hard to support Austin Sunshine Camps through Young Men’s Business League and support the arts through their membership and support of the Austin Contemporaries.
