To be considered for the BIPOC Accelerator Cohort, please complete and submit the application below by the application deadline of April 16, 2023. Once you apply, you will receive a confirmation email. Our BIPOC Accelerator team will then review your application and be in touch with next steps via email.

The BIPOC Accelerator is a first come, first serve program and can only accept 70 eligible participants.

    Thank you for your interest in applying for the BIPOC Small Business Accelerator with PeopleFund. This application is currently open to BIPOC owned businesses residing in the Quarter 2 2023 counties. Please complete all application questions and submit when complete. This application should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and cannot be saved once you begin.   • About You

    This section gives the selection committee identifying information about you. Though demographic information is optional, we still need to verify that the business is a BIPOC owned business. BIPOC refers to Black, Indigenous, People of Color, which includes anyone who identifies as Hispanic, Latinx, Native American, Native Hawaiian, Alaskan Native, Desi, Asian or Pacific Islander.

  • The BIPOC Small Business Accelerator is geared towards a new geographic community each quarter. If your county is not listed for this cohort, please be on the lookout as we start a new cohort every quarter and will return to your area soon.

        • About Your Business

          This section gives the selection committee more information about your business. Please note, your business must have been in operation for more than 6 months at the time of application and must reside in the eligible counties. List of counties served in Q2 2023 is found at the top of this page.
        • If your business is not formally registered, your business registration will be a required document that will be requested during the loan process. One of our Small Business Advisors can assist you on the business registration process. *Registering a corporation or limited liability company may take a few weeks to receive documentation. A business registration is NOT your IRS EIN nor your Sales Tax Certificate.
        • Program Eligibility

          This section ensures that the program committee better understands your eligibility.
        • Program Readiness

          This section helps the selection committee better understand how ready you are to commit to this program. Here, you'll answer questions in regards to program responsibilities.
        • Program Fit

          This section helps the selection committee better understand how well of a fit you are for this program and will be utilized to narrow down program participants in the case that more eligible applications are received than program space.
        • Credit Check Authorization

          When you submit your application, PeopleFund will complete a soft pull on your credit. This is a soft pull (not a hard pull). It will NOT affect your credit score. Please ensure to remove any credit freeze/lock in order for PeopleFund to run a soft pull credit check. This section is where you will authorize the soft pull and provide additional details needed.
