According to the 2016 Kauffman Index of Startup Activity, women entrepreneurs now make up more than 40% of new entrepreneurs in the United States. Meanwhile, this rapid growth has shown that women’s entrepreneur growth rates have doubled that of our male counterparts. #GirlPower
We’ve all learned the importance of networking, but as women in the business world– we have to break through boundaries and gender stereotypes, and this makes it is even more crucial that we stick together to lift one another up.
Aside from the free food, stepping outside your comfort zone by attending seminars and events will benefit you in so many ways. No matter how successful your business may already be, you are bound to learn something new. You will leave with a newfound sense of inspiration. And most importantly, you will leave with new connects.
These connects could lead to a potential collaboration, your next mentor, your next job opportunity, or maybe just someone to root for you and your successes.
Come unite with some incredible lady-bosses at PeopleSpring, a one-day networking, leadership, and women’s luncheon event on Thursday July 26th at the Sterling Events Center in Austin, Texas.
Together we can forge new relationships, learn about financing opportunities, and learn from successful women small business owners in our community. Click here to learn more about PeopleSpring and register for the event.
A special thanks to our partners at Capital One for making this event possible.
Hope to see you there!
