Business Guidance From Women. For Women.
Welcome to the PeopleFund Women’s Business Assistance Center, sponsored by MUFG Union Bank, N.A.
Small business is big business for women. More than 9.1 million firms across the United States are owned by women, and these businesses generate $1.4 trillion in sales, employ 7.9 million people.
2.9 million small businesses across our nation are owned by women of color, and these firms employ 1.4 million people and generate $226 billion in revenues each year.
Women are more optimistic than ever about entrepreneurship and the direction of their business, and we’re here to help. In partnership with MUFG Union Bank, N.A., PeopleFund has opened a Women’s Business Assistance Center in the heart of Dallas to serve women entrepreneurs across North Texas.
Offering workshops, online resources, and one-on-one business advising, we’re here to walk you through the ins and outs of small business finance, marketing, law, human resources, and management while preparing you for access to capital and small business success.

We understand that you’re juggling small business ownership, families, and maybe even another job. We’re here to guide you through financial statements, business plans, market research, and credit building so you can be confident as you grow your business. Our bilingual WBAC staff are here to expand your knowledge base and support you as you climb the ladder of economic opportunity.
Our team can also prepare you and your business for access to capital. If your business needs a financial boost along the way, we’re here to evaluate your loan readiness and provide the tools you need to apply and receive funding. PeopleFund also has special interest-rate reductions for women owned businesses to make sure you have access to low interest capital to turn your dream into a reality.
From the WBAC, you’ll have access to PeopleFund’s entrepreneur education series, local workshops with specialized topics, our PeopleSpring women’s networking and education program, mentors, business advising, and much more. Our Calendar provides up to date information on programs in the DFW area as well as offerings across Texas.
Interested in connecting with other driven, entrepreneurial women? Check out our luncheon networking series PeopleSpring, and find an event near you!
