ntrepreneurship ecosystem is great for women. An estimated 1200 new businesses are launching every day, and PeopleFund is proud to be a strong supporter of women-owned and women-led ventures. Which is why we were so excited to have our President and CEO, Gary Lindner, as one of the panelists at the National Women’s Business Council public meeting discussing Women’s Entrepreneurship on the Rise.
During the panel, Gary talked about the rise of women-owned and led business, and our support of women entrepreneurs as they compete in a market historically dominated by men. He also showcased PeopleFund’s dedication to supporting women owned small businesses—half of our loan clients are women, and 82% of our staff is women, including an all-female senior management staff.
The panel was hosted by the NWBC and took place this past Tuesday, June 23rd from 9:45am-11:15am at the Austin Convention Center. The meeting included remarks from different Council Members that shared the most recent trends of women in business.
Thanks to the National Women’s Business Council and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, as well as the other incredible dynamic panelists, the panel was a huge success!
