Is your business registered to operate in Texas?

You should answer “Yes” if your business has completed all the necessary paperwork and received approval to operate legally in Texas. Conversely, you should answer “No” if your business has not gone through the registration process or does not have the necessary approval to operate legally in Texas.

Are you a US citizen, US National or lawful permanent resident of the US for at least the last 6 months?

This question is asking if you have one of the following legal statuses in the United States: U.S. citizen, meaning you were born in the U.S. or have gone through the naturalization process to become a citizen; U.S. National, which includes citizens and some individuals from U.S. territories who owe permanent allegiance to the U.S.; or lawful permanent resident, meaning you have a green card that allows you to live and work in the U.S. permanently. You should answer “Yes” if you fall into any of these categories, and “No” if you do not have any of these legal statuses.

Have you been convicted of a felony within the last 12 months?

This question is asking if you have been convicted of a felony within the last 12 months. You should answer “Yes” if you have been convicted of a felony in the past year. Answer “No” if neither of these situations apply to you.

Are you currently subject to an indictment, criminal investigation, arraignment, or any other process involving formal criminal charges?

This question is asking if you are currently involved in any legal processes related to criminal charges. This includes being subject to an indictment, criminal investigation, arraignment, or any other formal criminal proceedings. You should answer Yes if you are currently facing any formal criminal charges. Answer “No” if neither of these situations apply to you.

Are you a registered sex offender?

This question is asking if you are officially listed as a sex offender in any registry. Being a registered sex offender means that you have been convicted of a sex-related crime and are required by law to register with local authorities. You should answer “Yes” if you are currently on any sex offender registry. Answer “No” if you are not listed as a registered sex offender.

Have you ever had a judgement or lien filed against you or your business?

This question is asking whether there has ever been a legal decision or claim made against you or your business that resulted in a judgment or lien. Judgment: This means a court has made a formal decision against you or your business, typically involving a debt or legal obligation you are required to fulfill. Lien: This is a legal claim or hold on your property or assets due to an unpaid debt or obligation. If you have experienced either of these situations, you should answer “Yes”. If you have not, you should answer “No”

As of today, are you behind on any child support payments, student loans, or other loans guaranteed by the government?

This question is asking if you are currently overdue on any financial obligations such as child support payments, student loans, or other loans that are backed by the government. Being behind on these payments means you have missed one or more scheduled payments and are not up to date with your repayment schedule. You should answer “Yes” if you are currently overdue on any of these obligations, and “No” if you are up-to-date with all your payments

Are you presently subject to any civil suit (including divorce, contract dispute, personal injury, custody, alimony, property dispute)?

This question is asking if you are currently involved in any civil legal proceedings. Civil suits can include a variety of issues such as divorce, contract disputes, personal injury claims, custody battles, alimony payments, or property disputes. Being subject to a civil suit means that you are either suing someone or being sued in a non-criminal court case. You should answer “Yes” if you are currently involved in any of these types of legal proceedings, and “No” if you are not.
