Speakers from this session represent 3 local organizations making a big impact in Houston’s maker/craft community: TXRX, a local makerspace that helps people do things themselves and introduces many shortcuts using technology, Pop Shop America, an e-commerce store for handmade goods and organizes several local markets, and People & Words, a new startup focused on helping people use words to tell their story and market themselves.
