Fernando’s journey began in 2003 when he took his first step into the world of gastronomy as a busboy at a local Tex-Mex restaurant. Over the years, he honed his skills, working as a fry cook, dishwasher, order filler, cook/kitchen manager, waiter, and shift manager at various Mexican and fast-casual restaurants. His expertise and dedication led him to the role of general manager where he oversaw everything from employee hiring and scheduling to repairs, maintenance, and customer service. Suarez had worked in almost every role possible, and his experience mixed with his entrepreneurial mind spurred him to open his own restaurant, Fajita Kings in April 2020.
