Bank of America recently announced a generous grant to PeopleFund to fund its lending programs and financial education to empower small business owners, create jobs and helping entrepreneurs achieve the American dream in greater Dallas/Ft. Worth.
PeopleFund will lend $4,261,700 to 117 clients, create 355 jobs and conduct 6,000 hours of business education and training in 2014.
PeopleFund currently runs two educational curriculums serving the Greater Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, PeopleSpark, a loan readiness and business education curriculum, and PeopleTalk, the entrepreneur Education Series for the South Dallas Fair Park area. PeopleFund also hosts the People2People mentorship program and community workshops focusing on credit counseling, financial literacy, loan readiness, and business plan development.
