Small Business and Nonprofit Loan Fund
PeopleFund provides financial and technical support to build healthy small businesses and charities. We provide financing up to $250,000 for equipment purchases, permanent work ing capital term loans, revolving lines of credit, and real estate loans. 51% of our clients are nonprofits and start-ups with fewer than 2 years in business. 89% of loans are to our target market of minorities, women, veterans, and businesses in low income areas.
Business Assistance and Education
PeopleFund offers a host of essential training and mentoring services in the areas of legal services, accounting, web development, marketing, graphic design, sales improvement, and many others through our network of professional volunteers and affiliate organizations. PeopleFund offers one-on-one mentoring and workshop opportunities as well as the PeopleTalk lecture series where attendees can learn directly from outstanding leaders in our community. PeopleFund now offers customized program curriculums for start-up businesses and veterans, as well as the technology to reach into rural communities.
Junior Entrepreneurship Track
At-risk youth in our community often lack the basic financial and educational skills to succeed after high school graduation. JET is a year-long program designed to enable future leaders with the confidence and experience to obtain employment and one day start their own business. JET covers financial literacy, professional development, diversity and cultural identity, lifeskills workshops, and career simulations.
